Aims and Scope

MD Journal‘s target audience consists of scholars and researchers who use the digital platform as a channel for sharing and peer reviewing their research work. In terms of the clear and defined scientific slant of the articles, geared to the innovation and updating of the topics discussed, the target audience of the journal undoubtedly pertains to the world of science and universities, with particular reference to the disciplinary sectors of design, architecture, materials and communication. At the same time, the professional world of independent researchers is not excluded from the potential audience of MD Journal: architects, designers and makers seeking to widen their knowledge. MD Laboratorio’s specific and ongoing collaborative and design-driven relations with private-sector companies mean that, besides the scientific audience of researchers and students, its public includes figures within organisations involved in research into innovation in strategies for design, marketing and brand communication, thus joining the results of university-based research to the national production fabric, substantiating the expectations and indications of the “third mission” recently attributed to Italian Universities.

Review process
The Journal adopts double-blind peer review process
