To remain competitive, the production cost of photovoltaic cells should decrease while improving photovoltaic performances, i.e., both efficiency and durability. This renewable and inexhaustible source of energy is today mainly based on the silicon technology. Its interesting performances have allowed the beginning of photovoltaic industrialization. However, the manufacturing cost and waste management limits of silicon photovoltaic cells remain a real drawback slowing down its development.\u00a0First described in the 1970s,\u00a0organic photovoltaic materials seem to be an interesting alternative. More specifically, new \u201cplastic\u201d photovoltaic devices have a great potential for low-cost, low-weight, flexibility and large-size processability, sustained by recent studies unambiguously demonstrating their real potential for short energy payback time. In recent years, interest has also emerged concerning perovskite materials. Indeed, efficiencies over 25% have already been shown.
