CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0emission happens during the life cycle stages of concrete, and the emission of CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0becomes an urgent problem to be solved in the concrete industry. Low CO<sub>2\u00a0<\/sub>concrete is a new type of concrete with low CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0emission and comparable performance to ordinary concrete. Governments, industry, and the research community are very concerned about material design, structural design, and construction methods of low CO<sub>2\u00a0<\/sub>concrete. This Special Issue will provide a broad communication platform for low CO<sub>2\u00a0<\/sub>concrete and highlight realistic and feasible directions for government decision-making and industrial production of low CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0concrete.\u00a0The Special Issue will introduce the latest progress in low CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0concrete and contribute to the development of \u00a0low CO<sub>2\u00a0<\/sub>society. The topics of this Special Issue include but are not limited to the following: material design of low CO<sub>2\u00a0<\/sub>concrete; hydration performance; mechanical properties and durability of low CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0concrete; workability and construction methods of low CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0concrete; structural design considering\u00a0 CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0emissions; the application of multi-scale methods in low CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0concrete.
